C017 Bentwood Chair Set

The earliest one in the collection. This is a settee, a set 2 armchairs and 4 side chairs. All have been cut down because of the depth of upholstery. The upholstery is fairly new with a good quality fabric. Checking the underside it appears that it was always upholstered. The model number is Number 4 it was made by Thonet. It is still in the Thonet catalogue of 1904 but not in Kohn of 1904 or 1916
